Office Ceiling Prime/Closet Paint

Today I finished up some final sanding touch ups on the walls in the office.  I primed the ceiling in the office and in the walk-in closet; I also put 2 coats of paint on the smaller closet.

Office Sanding (6/25/14)

Today I sanded the walls in the office.  Whew glad to be done with that!!  I still need to wipe down the walls but at least the dusty part is done.

In the last couple days Mike put in some towel rods in the bathroom downstairs and hooked up the air conditioner.

Kitchen Pennant Lights (6/22/14)

Mike hung the pennant lights above the island today.  I'm not totally sure about the green yet, but they are pretty inexpensive and easy to switch out to something else - may be my new hobby for the changing seasons ;)

Backyard Patio Done! (6/18/14)

Mike finished the patio in the backyard tonight!

Mike got more done on the patio in the backyard tonight.  Only 18 more pavers to go!!

Living Room Hardwood Finished (6/16/14)

Today Mike finished up the flooring in the living room.

Mike put in more of the flooring in the living room today.  There is just a small section left in front of the door and into the closet.

...and he said he wasn't going to work on the house on Father's Day :)

Into the office

I did some more mudding in the office, should be just a couple more days and it will be ready for sanding.

Office Floor Prep (6/13/14)

Today Mike screwed down the floor in the office for about half of it.  It was really squeaky so now all the squeaks are gone.  We have to work around the desk since it's not that easy to move with the granite on the top.  He put down some of the underlayment also.  I did more taping and mudding in there.

Bottom of the Steps Sheetrock (6/12/14)

Tonight Mike moved all the sheetrock that we had sitting in the office to downstairs.  He put up sheetrock on the wall of the laundry room.  This is great because now the kids room is a little more closed off.  He is planning on putting in the laundry room door too.  

I did some taping and mudding in the office.

Office Sheetrock (6/10/14)

Tonight Mike got the office sheetrocked.  Yay this is the last room upstairs that we had been staring at insulation on the walls!!

Patio in the Back (6/9/14)

Mike got a little more done on the patio in the back tonight.

Today Mike got the insulation finished up in the office and the poly put up.  I did another coat of mud on both the closets.

Paver Cutting (6/6/14)

Mike cut some pavers tonight to put in the areas that butt up to the house for the backyard patio.

Office Prep (6/5/14)

Today we did a little in the office to get it ready for sheetrock.  Mike got rid of the last old outlet in the room, we stapled up some of the insulation, and moved things around to make it easier to work in there.

Patio in the Back (6/4/14)

Mike put down more of the patio in the back tonight.  He used up most of the pavers that we had from the old patio so we will need to get more to finish it.

Living room Flooring (6/3/14)

Tonight Mike put in a little strip of flooring up against the wall.  It had to be cut down to fit so he was putting it off.  Now to figure out how to arrange the living room!

Today Mike got a little more done on the patio in the back.

Back Patio (5/31/14)

Last night Mike took out some of the existing pavers from the patio in the back so we can redo it.  Today he started to get a few pavers in, didn't get too far but it's started!
