Cabinets Have Arrived! (5/5/14)

Today is the big day we've been waiting for a long time!!  Our cabinets are coming!!

Bob from Cabinetry Concepts arrived about 6:30 am to drop them off!

The installers got a lot of them put into place but didn't finish up.  A few things were wrong and need to be fixed.  The cabinets didn't come with backs on them, we had no idea this was even an option and ours wouldn't have backs.  I didn't finish the wall behind them assuming the cabinets would cover them, so that's a bummer.  Now we need to add in some panels to hide the wall and a few we are just going to paint white since there isn't a tape line there.  Sounds like the things that weren't right will be fixed and put in next week.

 So far I absolutely love it!!!  I can't believe the transformation the house has already taken, it feels like a whole  new house now!  In Kate's words "Mom our house is normal now!"  She had been saying lately "back when our house was normal"....oh dear we need to get this done!
