A-Coil for AC installed (7/27/16)
Tonight Mike put in the A-coil for the AC. He had to take the water-heater out to get access to the furnace and then cut apart the existing housing and swap them. Now we just need to get the AC guy out to get things hooked up and we should have air!!
I understand how you feel about needing central air. This summer was the hottest I remember having in Northern Michigan. I have a window air conditioner but it wasn't enough this year. By the time the heat finally subsided I had decided that next spring I will be getting central air for the house I am buying later this fall.
ReplyDeleteWhen we had the system installed in our home, we thought we were in heaven. One of the tips I can offer is to use a scented filter because the smell of the new coils in the unit tends to travel throughout the house, lingering for days. Better replace them right away when you notice a change in temperature next time.
