Lights (9/6/13)

Today Mike finished the caps on the egress window wells and got them all glued down and we got the dirt pile on the side of the house spread out.

Mike put in some recessed lights in the cubbie room and dining room.

Egress Caps (9/5/13)

I put in the edging by the front corner of the house.

Mike got the caps put on the top of the 2 egress windows.....of course we were 2 short and have to pick them up to finish them.  He was able to glue down the caps on the front window and most on the middle one.

Mud Room Framing (9/4/13)

Today I got the middle egress window back filled.

We straightened out the area by the front of the house and got it ready to put edging in.

Mike framed up the wall that will close off the mud room/cubbies and also the closet that will be right next to the door when you come in the back.

Egress & Electrical (9/3/13)

Tonight we finished up the middle egress window and started on the caps for both windows.  We don't have enough caps and it started getting dark so we called it quits with the outside and started on the inside!  We started doing some figuring of where we want to put outlets and Mike put some boxes up!

It's an egress kind of weekend (9/2/13)

Today we finished up the front side egress window and started on the middle window well.  It's a little over half way done, I can't wait to be done with these and get the yard straightened up and back to normal!

One egress window done. one to go (9/1/13)

Today we started on the front side egress window well.  This one is not as deep because we could only go as far down as the gas line is.  We dug a hole over to the middle window to tie in the drain tile.  As you can see we had lots of little helpers and we pulled a late night but didn't quite get it finished.

Bump it out...or not (8/30/13)

Mike worked on the office window bump out section again tonight, didn't get a whole lot done, but then we decided it'd be better to get the egress window wells built while the weather is still nice so we can get grass seed planted.  On to hauling heavy blocks and class 5!
