Fireplace Sheetrock (2/4/14)

Today Mike got the vent put in for the fireplace going outside.  He also sheetrocked the wall behind the fireplace and on the outside of it.

Sheetrocked!

The ceiling in the living room has this wonderful vintage swirl that we are trying to get rid of and have been fighting for awhile.  We were going to skim coat over it and then do knock-down, but there are a lot of flaky pieces that come down easily so we need to scrape the ceiling first.  This takes forever and makes a big mess!  We've been doing a little here and there, Mike did some last night around the spots that we patched and need to be mudded so at least I can fix those.
