Bottom of Steps Framing & Sheetrock (9/28/15)

Today Mike framed the ceiling in the area going into the family room downstairs.

And put up the sheetrock.

He framed the little area at the bottom of the steps.

And sheetrocked it.

Old Water Lines Removed (9/23/15)

Tonight Mike removed some old water lines in the ceiling downstairs.  This will help to finish up things in the ceiling so we can put up more sheetrock.  The ceiling at the bottom of the steps has to jog around a few things so I need a few more pieces up before I am able to mud the whole ceiling in order to finish the area at the bottom of the steps.

Bottom of Steps Hall Sheetrock (9/22/15)

Today Mike did some framing next to the door to the storage room and put up some sheetrock.  We are working towards working on the family room downstairs but I want to be able to finish the hall area at the bottom of the steps pretty close with the laundry room being finished.  

Laundry Room Sheetrock Finished (9/20/15)

Today Mike finished sheetrocking the laundry room and I got it all taped.

Bathroom Pallet Wall (9/19/15)

Today we made a fun pallet wall in the upstairs bathroom!  Mike brought home pallets from work and cut them all apart.  I selected the ones I wanted up there, did a bunch of measuring, cut them all down to size, and nailed them up.  I love how it turned out, such a fun addition to an awkward space!

Laundry Room Ceiling Sheetrock Finished (9/17/15)

Tonight Mike hung the rest of the sheetrock on the ceiling in the laundry room and started on the walls.

Today Mike started on the sheetrock on the ceiling in the laundry room.

Laundry Room Insulated (9/14/15)

Today Mike finished the water lines in the laundry room, he ran the line to the outdoor faucet in the backyard.  He built a sofit around the heat duct and insulated the outside wall.  It is ready for sheetrock now.

Water Lines Run to New Laundry Room (9/13/15)

Today Mike ran the water lines to the new laundry room for the wash machine.  We will be finishing the laundry room before we move the wash machine in though.

Access Door to Water Heater (9/1/15)

Tonight Mike moved the door that we had originally put in the laundry room to in front of the water heater.  This will give us access to the water heater and now we don't need the door into the laundry room since we got the new barn door.

Jonah's Closet Door Installed (8/31/15)

Today Mike put in Jonah's closet door. We just need to get some knobs for it.
