A-Coil for AC installed (7/27/16)

Tonight Mike put in the A-coil for the AC.  He had to take the water-heater out to get access to the furnace and then cut apart the existing housing and swap them. Now we just need to get the AC guy out to get things hooked up and we should have air!!

New AC! (7/26/16)

We decided to get a new AC unit since we have not had any luck trying to get ours fixed.  It arrived today!  Mike got the outside unit in place tonight.  He will put in the A-coil tomorrow and then we will have an AC guy come and hook it all up.  Oh man we can't wait to have air!!

The List (7/18/16)

So we have a list of things left to get done on the house.  It's actually pretty short and fits on one piece of paper!  Mike was able to check a few off tonight:

1. Tape up the dryer vent right up by the ceiling so lint doesn't come out and get all over the wall.
2. Cut in the return vent in Jonah's room.
3. Mount the thermostat on the wall.
4. Route the wires behind the wall for the TV.
5. Cut in the hole for the furnace vent; we still need to get the right size grate for it.

The List
Dryer vent taped up
Return vent added in Jonah's room
Thermostat on the wall, TV wires ran behind wall, hole cut in for vent on furnace

Fence! (7/2/16)

We've been wanting to put up a fence on our side yard by the garage for some time now.  Mike knew if he put up the fence then he wouldn't be able to fit his trailer next to the garage.  He came up with the idea of making the fence removable!  This way when he wants to get the trailer out he can just remove the fence panels.  He cemented in a hollow fence section for the posts to slide into. It turned out perfect!
