Mud Room Primed (1/10/14)

Today I finished sanding the mud room when you come in the back side door and I got it primed.  I figured it'd be easier do the mud room/dining room in stages and I really wanted to get the corner going into the mud room area primed to seal up the sheetrock/mud, hopefully the corner won't get nicked as much now.

 Mike worked on the plumbing in the downstairs bathroom again, getting the drain for the tub and toilet done.  He started the run for the kitchen sink plumbing but ran out of tubing to finish it.

Master Bedroom Primed (1/9/14)

Today I got the master bedroom primed!  Feels so good to have a whole room done!!  

Mike worked on the plumbing for the tub and toilet in the new bathroom downstairs.

Master Bedroom Prime Started (1/8/14)

Today I cleaned up all the dust from sanding the master bedroom and started to prime it.  I got the ceiling and one and a half of the walls painted.  The kids desperately wanted to help paint, I let them each do a little and they had to be in their "painting clothes" :)

Mike did the section of plumbing running to the bathtub in the new bathroom downstairs.

Downstairs Bathroom Sink Plumbing (1/7/14)

Today Mike did the plumbing in the wall for the sink in the downstairs bathroom.

I sanded the walls in the master bedroom and now it is ready for primer!

Another run completed for downstairs plumbing (1/5/14)

Mike worked on the plumbing downstairs again today.  He got the section in the hallway done and then down past the furnace and the start of the vent pipe.  Evan was a good helper today filling buckets of dirt and learning all about plumbing....he's going to be quite the man someday - to his future wife, your welcome :)

Mike started the plumbing downstairs, he's never done plumbing like this before so it's like putting together a puzzle and takes a bit to figure out.

It's a little buried under the dirt, but it does the length of this trench

I LOVE my front closet!! (1/1/14)

I saw a fun stencil in a closet on Houzz and knew right away that I wanted to do something similar in my front entry way closet!  My sis got a new Silhouette machine for Christmas and wanted to try it out so my closet turned out to be a great blank canvas for her!  And by "her" I guess I mean me and Mike too ;)

It ended up taking most of the day and we finished pretty late, but it's finished and I LOVE it!!  Maybe the next time we do it, it will go smoother.  I have a vision of doing the wall above the fire place....so stay tuned, but it will be awhile since that wall is not even sheetrocked yet!
