Downstairs

Today we worked on the downstairs.  I patched more holes in the bedroom, livingroom, and stairway.  All have 2 coats of mud and have either been sanded and are done or just need to be sanded.  It is almost ready for paint!  Now to pick a color!

Mike worked on getting the storage room and laundry room ready to put the flooring down.  He tore out some old shelves and paneling on the ceiling, among many other things.  Evan had fun helping him haul everything out of the room and bring it outside for the trash.  He is such a good helper!

The was one little shelf in the storage room that had some old paint sitting in it.  At one point I said once it is all cleaned up it might be a good spot to put games for the kids.  Evan heard me say that so all day he kept asking dad if he put the games in there yet.  So cute!  Mike ended up taking out that shelf, so no game area I guess!

I painted the last coat of paint on the trim on the window in the kitchen, that was exciting to take the tape off and see it complete!

The floors will be completely ready to walk on or set things on them on Tuesday, so that will be nice to be done with them!  Now that they are done it seems like things are going to start coming together more and look more finished!
